and Energy Performance Certificates (EPCs)
Homes marketed for sale in England and Wales need a Home Information Pack (HIP) which includes an Energy Performance Certificate (EPC), Sale Statement, searches and evidence of title. Homes for rent have to be marketed with an Energy Performance Certificate (EPC).
Vendors and Landlords are free to use any solicitor, conveyancing firm, HIP provider or Domestic Energy Assessor.
